Last year, I embarked on a journey to produce an Ebook Festive Food publication focused on WA produce and supporting our local growers, producers and makers. I was really proud of the result and how well it was received. In 2021 I have used the last edition as a springboard and taken it to the next level!

I have curated a collection of talented local farmer’s, growers and makers allowing me to create a bumper 156-page edition of A Local Table 2021 bursting with Summer entertaining ideas to suit our seasonal food offering and sunny outdoor-style celebrations.

I wanted to showcase the amazing array of talent we have here in WA with a publication that not only lays out how to use our local produce during the Festive Summer Season but also shares the great stories of these talented local food producers.

Championing local is what my business as a food stylist and recipe developer is all about. Our awesome WA food producers are hard-working, passionate and creating world-class tasty and fresh produce and products. We are so lucky to be able to source such a wide variety of quality food from close to home.

Our world is a changed place, Covid has shifted the landscape, and so many of our smaller agricultural businesses have had to pivot and adapt by introducing the concept of farm-to-plate availability. We now have more opportunity than ever to have great produce delivered directly to our doorstep and many of the suppliers in my book have added this service to allow direct access to their goods.

During the holidays, we generally place more importance on cooking and sharing food with loved ones. Using A Local Table, you can really focus on some of our local food producers, take the time to find out where the food comes from and how we play our part in supporting local.
