I ain’t no Prima Dona but.... after experiencing all the amazing cheese served up at an industry event hosted @appleroomperth by cheese aficionado Valerie Henbest for @cheeseculture_int and Say Cheese Wholesalers, I am spoilt for life!! No more Jatz and Cheddar for this lady!! I have literally never seen so much cheese served up in one room! There were wheels and chunks and melting stinky washed rinds everywhere. Heaven 🥰

I don’t do these often, but it’s such a joy to play with food and make sure it displays beautifully. I love this shot by @sociallaura_ showing me adding almond blossom to the table. My new friend in the kitchen. Does anyone else get super excited over new pieces of cookware... knives....dine ware... any kitchen item really?? I’ve just taken this puppy for a test run. Just thought I’d say hi today. I’ve been flat out lately so it’s nice to be holed up in my workspace @appleroomperth catching up on admin, finalising recipes and getting a bit of writing done. There’s no makeup in sight (never usually is 😂) and my eyes are looking a little weary but it’s when I get a chance to look up every now and then that I realise my business is growing organically and is heading in a direction I find challenging and rewarding. Don’t get me wrong, sometimes I want to lie down and play dead so I can rest up.. unfortunately the kids usually just do stacks on when I stay still for too long. I’m just like all the working Mums out there who feel like they are never getting the balance quite right! Life’s never going to be perfect and neither am I, but it certainly ain’t boring.. Hope you’re all keeping it somewhat on track wherever this message finds you. More food pics soon I promise 😉. Wow this is an actual Instagram post.. #oldschoolpost

How many are too many lemon tarts to eat in one day?? Well that’s the number I ate while working with the King Street crew @_thebrandagency on a recent shoot for @mrs_macs new sweet pie range. You all know I have high standards and I’m vouching for these bad boys. Sooooo good! 🍋 🍋❤️
