INGREDIENTS

⅓ glass sparkling wine (Champagne or Prosecco)

⅓ glass blood orange juice + zest

⅓ glass soda water

15ml gin

Sugar syrup, to taste (1:1 sugar to water ratio)

To Serve (Optional)

Zest of orange

1 Tbsp caster sugar

Ice


METHOD

  1. Rim the glass: On a small plate, mix orange zest and caster sugar. Wet the rim of your glass with water, then dip into the zest sugar to coat.

  2. Build the drink: Fill the glass with ice. Pour in sparkling wine, blood orange juice, soda water, and gin.

  3. Adjust sweetness: Stir gently and top with sugar syrup to taste.
